Thunder Five
|
Ernie e-mailed us to tell us about the "Thunder Five", used in critical sporting situations to totally demoralize the opponent.
The two people involved start off in a squatting position, facing one another. They use their palms to slowly and lightly drum the ground in front of them, gradually increasing in speed and power. At the critical moment, the peak or the climax, if you will, they jump in unison and do a double high five in the air, hopefully making a satisfying "SMACK" sound. Thus, making the human equivalent of a thunderclap. It works best if the two people are of similar height, but adjustments can be made.
